November 5.
UVA did it again as they brought Kendrick Lamar and Stalley one year after they brought Big Sean and Mac Miller for their first SHHO show in Charlottesville. It was definitely an honor to meet K. Dot and see him perform. Hard to not see great things in his future. Definitely full of energy and hard to photograph with him flying everywhere. I don't have anything smart to say here. It was a quality show even though the wait was killer. Killer in a bad way.

Going back in time a bit but that's okay. I spent about a week in Charlottesville shooting footage for Nest Realty Group which is the equivalent of Odd Future to the realty world if you losers need a reference. Instead of showing pictures of the beautiful mountains and vineyards, here is a picture of Danny who helped me out on the shoot. We would coordinate our shirts from Urban Outfitters and pretend everyone from Richmond was as weird as us.
September 25.
There's nothing like shooting guns in the mountains on your birthday. I guess there is because this wasn't take on my birthday but a few days before. Rebecca's family graciously invited me to hang out with them at Graves Mountain for the weekend and learn what it was like to live in a log cabin without internet and only DirecTV. The photo above is of me sitting on a pile of junk by the range. Reminiscent of hoarding.
I worked with real life couple Chris and Kiersyn for the Need's latest Holiday video. Cameron was the photographer aside me and we shot around Forest Hill in the cold weather, trekking our way in search of the river. The shoot was fun and rewarding and I also got to test out my new Yashica 35mm as seen above. There's nothing like taking photos of really expensive clothes that you'll never be able to afford unless you're Daniel Day Lewis and shooting Lincoln across the street.
December 5.
December is for Holiday parties. Here is a picture of Gabe, co-owner and creative director of Need Supply cutting a hardwood floor at The Roosevelt in Church Hill. This might have been the most well-dressed holiday party ever. You could catch me chilling at the bar waiting for the next round of hors d'ouevres to come out of the kitchen. Mmm, tuna pancakes.
December 18.
These are my good, drunk off open bar friends of my Cinema class at the Lincoln wrap party. We tried to find Sally Fields the whole night while avoiding Joseph Gordon Levitt who kept trying to dance to LMFAO with Caleb. Cat just doesn't know when to quit. I think I was the only when there for the food instead of the bar. Those meatballs though? you know what I'm talking about.
December 19.
This is cocaine.
December 21.
This year will probably end quietly for me. Many hours of my day are now spent at this man cave downtown working on my ping pong skills during render hell. Not complaining though, cool people to work with. Just have to stop getting bored and eating Peanut M&Ms all day. Apologies for not ending these set of posts in a bang. And on that note, Happy New Year.
