Rich Minga for BFG.

This is Rich Minga. He's a precision driver, an offroad racer and a family guy. Don't believe me? Watch the video I put together of Rich who drove the Camaro in the recent BFG videos as well as some other behind the scenes action. Peep it.

BFG Comp2 Launch Video.

Fast cars are cool. Fast cars doing tricks are cool. Nick Wurz and Andrew Prousalis are cool for editing and doing the color and graphics for this video. Mondial is pretty cool. Now go buy a tire or four. (Practicing my copywriting. Did it work?)

BFG Remix 2011.

Here's a little video I cut while working at MONDIAL. The Martin Agency in Richmond hooked up with Shaun White last year for their campaign with BFGoodrich Tires. This is a recap video of what they did last year and a little teaser of what they have in store for 2012.

MMMM.

After a long busy week in the office, Mondial decided to relax by going to the spa and getting mud masks. Now replace spa with MX track and mud mask with…mud. As a company we all hopped into two Honda Elements with dirt bikes in tow and proceeded to drive one hour north towards Fredericksburg VA.

That One Song.

This is that one song. Iron by Woodkid. My more loyal readers would probably recognize it from Kendrick Lamar's Section.80. Another percentage of my subscribers upon hearing this song would have their memories jogged to remember the Assassin's Creed Revelations cinematic trailer. Hey maybe you just know it because you're a fan of Woodkid. Nevertheless, I thought I'd share this with anyone who hasn't heard this song or have seen this video. Its a great little video that fits perfectly to the song. Probably because the director, Yoann Lemoine, is also the singer-songwriter known as Woodkid. Aside from making these videos for himself, Lemoine also takes his time out to try and redefine pop music videos for the likes of Katy Perry and Taylor Swift. It's great to see an artist that is still able to be praised in such dying fields as "pop" music and music videos themselves.

Never Extinguish.

There's always something that draws me to the culture of the skateboarder. There's this mystique that comes in this type of athlete. An almost superhero, Robin Hood character. A humble servant whose master is whatever dictates what rad means to them and their brethren. Some may see them as hoodlums and miscreants but I view them as living, moving agents that release an artform among the streets. And what better way to see that then in the video above. Obviously drawing off of Romain Gavras's STRESS video for Justice, Rune Glifberg and fellow Danes skate Buenos Aires for an energy drink.

Go All Day.

When I was in grade school, around the same time the Tony Hawk Pro Skater video games came out, all of my friends picked up a skateboard. My mother was terrified of the idea of me bombing hills and jumping down stair sets on a piece of wood, she refused to let me get a skateboard and hang out at the skateparks or any of the spots around town. Instead I picked up a guitar stole all the girls from my buddies. Take that. Anyways, some days I sit and wish I was a kid again and this video definitely evokes that mindset. If I was a 17 pro skater by the name of Chaz Ortiz.

Mr. Rager.

It's been a while since I personally had Kid Cudi on my radar. I had listened to MOTM non-stop and when MOTM came out, it was cool too. Maybe it didn't do it for me as its predecessor did. Maybe I just have never done drugs to be able to relate or see what he was seeing. Maybe the tunes weren't as banging. Or maybe it was that stupid ass Erase Me video with Kanye. Whatever it was I'm glad to see this new video from him.
