We spent our last days in the mountains doing the only thing we could do. Hop in the beamer to go shoot a shit ton of guns. It was my first time shooting and I was handed a shotgun, an AR and some sort of loud, deadly handgun. We arrived at our destination and switched to a more powerful machine to crossed the river. Sitting in the back of a truck looking at the gate closing behind us made it very reminiscent of the days I would go to Chuck E. Cheese and play the only shooter they had. That Jurassic Park game. You know what I'm talking about.

Graves Mountain.
This past weekend Rebecca and I went West to the mountains where we stayed in a cabin and ate a bunch of food that somehow involved an apple in the meal. We brought Riley and needless to say it was pretty fun and relaxing. It was a weekend of many firsts for me. I had never gone horseback riding before so I got the chance to do so on a nice little trail around the whole mountain. More pictures after the jump.

TWK x ZOO.
The ACP team headed to the National Zoo for some research and inspiration. Don't let the title fool you, we're just trying to finish off that stupid 'x' symbol people misused and killed a while ago. Now there's nothing like taking a metro. I feel like you can tell a lot about a whole culture of an area, whether it be DC, NY, London, or Tokyo, just by sitting and observing.
More pictures of cute animals and things after the jump.

Norfolk.
We took a ride yesterday towards the beach to go to the mall. Now this wasn't any ordinary mall, they claimed to have ice cream from the future. After the extreme disappointment of a small cup filled with little frozen pebbles, we decided to proceed with what we drove all this way to do. Much like you will proceed from reading about DippinDots to something actually meaningful.
Here we are with Gene Thornton, better known Malice from the Clipse, shooting a quick promotional video for his upcoming college lectures at UVA, W&M and VCU. We tried to switch things up from a backdrop of big black booties to computer repair shop.

Whoa.
This is Whoa and Sean Ray. The music video was for Whoa's Where Ya Paper At where he had some help from Sean Ray's vocals on the hook. We were briskly walking on the bridge for a shot as we stumbled upon on a large sum of money and random herbs and spices. Being the good citizens we are, we notified the officials and proceeded lip synching in the thirty degree weather as passerbys eyed us across the street.

Another One.
Another trip to New York ended yesterday along with the video shoot. I swear one of these days I'm going to go up there to visit friends and relax instead of having a schedule. Anyways the day began on Friday morning as I visited my least favorite form of transportation.

Tone.
Last but not least on the NY to do list was to meet up with photographer Tone. So we hopped on the PATH train and headed over to Jersey to be humbled one last time before we headed back to Fist City. We had a conversation about the usual. Aspirations, recent events, basically we spoke to a friend that we hadn't seen in years when in reality we caught up with someone who we never met before.

Chitty Nitty Bang Bang.
Let's start off this post with some food again. Now I usually don't like white pizza but I guess I never had it quite right... Lisa. Here's a slice of some artichoke pizza from Artichoke in the East Village. When I first saw it on my friend's plate, it didn't look too appealing. But all pizza kind of looks alike. If I had one sound to describe this pizza, I'd use the sound of a unicorn farting. And it sounds awesome.
On the way to Queens to meet up with a new friend, we ran into these dudes dancing in the metro. This is where you can tell we're out of town. Metros architecturally just blow my mind. So do underwater tunnels and rockets. Anyways, this dude was dancing which also kind of blew my mind. He ended it by taking off all his clothes and running out as the doors opened. New York is so bizarre.
We arrive at our destination and look who it is. Nitty Scott MC.

The KDU.
Our first official stop in New York was at the headquarters of the Keystone Design Union in Brooklyn. It is a Design & Communication Agency that has over 1,000 members in more than 80 countries. The KDU has worked with Hennessy, Diesel, Reebok, and tons more. It's basically a group of smart and creative friends that work together. A Justice League if you will.

Vacation to the Snow.
Most people want to escape the cold and visit a nice, warm locale to get away from all the hectic stress at work. For some reason we decided to go to New York. We just touched down in the city and immediately wandered the streets for some good eats.
We ended up at Ess-a-Bagel on 1st Avenue to satisfy our hungry after a six hour, death-ridden ride to Big Apple. The whole experience was very delicious to say the least.

R&R.
We stopped by the office and warehouse of the RP55 Group recently in Virginia Beach, VA. This place is the home of T.I.'s Akoo Clothing, Clipse's Play Cloths as well as many other clothing brands. We can't say what we were doing here but we can give you a little tour.

This is Ralph Reynolds, one of the co-founders of RP55. He wanted to get away from NYC and came down to the beach with 47 cents in his pocket. He ended up being one of the biggest hip hop moguls in the urban street wear game. Don't get them confused with Supreme or some vague Japanese brand that overcharges for a button-up. RP55 is straight business.
A few more pics after the jump.
